Action Adventure

Games that requires the player to interact with the storyline, to find their way in a big world. Is known as action adventure games. Often the player has to pay attention to the storyline, to follow the instructions of the game, in order to progress. Sometimes the player is just thrown into a world to explore, left to find the way solitarily.

The ability to level up the character, "grind" certain beneficial places and enemies is often done. Equipment is often a key factor in an adventure based game. Therefore collecting and saving various stuff can be of great importance. Adventure game players, may also be helped by drawing a map of the world they explore. To make notes about where to go or where they have been. This helps the player when doing retries of the game, or just resuming it later. Guides and hints from other players, can also be useful when stuck somewhere in an adventure game.
